Digg Sponsor GoDaddy.com Suffers Outage

GoDaddy.com was hit with a denial-of-service attack Wednesday morning, prompting 600,000 of its customers' hosted Web sites to go dark for roughly an hour.

I host thatedeguy.com through GoDaddy and haven't had a problem. I also don't have any extremely important business conducted on that site. If I did... I would be a little unhappy.

This is why we need to watch this so called patriot act a little more closely than we have...

"The FBI came calling in Windsor, Conn., this summer with a document marked for delivery by hand. On Matianuk Avenue, across from the tennis courts, two special agents found their man. They gave George Christian the letter, which warned him to tell no one, ever, what it said."

Thatedeguy.blogspot.com returns

My blogging started here at thatedeguy.blogspot.com. It lasted about 1 month and then I bought the main domain and hosting and off I went. I basically abandoned this blog with nothing more than a forward message to http://www.thatedeguy.com.

What to look for here in the future:

  1. I still use http://www.thatedeguy.com as my main blog site, so don't expect a whole lot of content.
  2. Mostly infrequent updates with future expansion and usage only if I get a lot more free time
So... the idea is that this is mostly a placeholder until I find a better usage for it.
